Home / Projects
Portfolio — from front door to deck
A good project page reads like a walk through the house. You start at the brief, move through the rooms and finish with the result. As projects are published they will be presented by room and by property type; until then, start with the services behind each room.
How a project is shown
Projects are presented in this eight-part order once they are published, so one home can be compared with another. Each starts with the questions the household had and ends with how the finished rooms are used.
The suburb and type of home, such as a beachside apartment, a hinterland house or a new build on a narrow block. Light, breeze and outlook shape everything that follows.
What wasn’t working, who lives there, and what the rooms needed to do.
The palette, stone, timber, tiles and fabrics, and why they suit that house and that light.
The layout moves, joinery, lighting and furniture decisions that answered the brief, explained room by room.
Photographs in the same order you’d walk through the house, from the entry to the outdoor room.
How the finished spaces work in daily life, not just how they look on the day of the shoot.
The services behind each room
Most people arrive with one room in mind. As projects are added they will be grouped by the space that was designed, and each room below links to the service behind it. Start with the room you want to change and follow it through.

Reference photograph: double-height glazing brings in water views and daylight, so scale, glare and furniture placement need planning together.
Every project starts with a brief. Before your consultation, it helps to gather:
— Floor plans or builder’s drawings, if you have them
— Phone photos of the rooms as they are today
— A list of what stays: furniture, art, appliances
— A few images of spaces you like, and a note on why
— Which room comes first, and which can wait
Have a question first? Send us a message or read how the design process works. We work across the Gold Coast, from Hope Island to Palm Beach. See our service areas.
