02 — Behind the rooms
A new home only gets one chance to put the power points, the pantry and the pendant in exactly the right place. We start on the interiors while your house is still on paper, so every room is planned before anyone starts building.

Most interior decisions on a new build aren’t really about style. They’re about where things go, and that gets locked in early.
Builders’ standard plans are made to work for lots of different buyers. Our job is to make yours work for your household. We walk through the drawings as you’ll live in the house: where the keys land at the entry, how you see the kitchen from the living room, where the morning light reaches the bedrooms, and how the outdoor room opens off the main living space.
Walking the plans this way usually turns up small changes that are easy to make now and costly later: a door swing, a deeper pantry, a switch in a better spot, or a window moved to frame the view instead of the neighbour’s wall.
Owners building a new home on the Gold Coast with a volume builder, a custom builder or an architect, who want one clear interior direction running from the selections appointment to move-in. It suits people with plans in progress, people about to face a long selections list, and people who’d rather make those choices once, in the right order.
Step 1
We go through your floor plan room by room, looking at circulation, furniture sizes and storage. Space planning starts here.
Step 2
One palette of colour, stone, timber and tile for the whole house, chosen with the colour and material selection service.
Step 3
We design kitchen, vanity and robe joinery, then lay out lights and power to suit the furniture plan.
Step 4
Selections schedules and design documentation your builder can price and build from.

Detailed design for the rooms that cost the most, covering kitchen design, bathroom design and custom joinery.
Everything above, plus lighting and finishes and a furniture package so the house is ready to live in from the day you get the keys.
