Furniture Packages Gold Coast

A new house or a full refurnish usually starts with empty rooms and a long list. A furniture package turns that list into one considered plan. Every sofa, bed, table, rug and lamp is chosen for the room it goes in and to suit the rest of the house, from the front door through to the deck.

Before a package is put together

What we confirm first

✓  Which rooms are in scope and which pieces you are keeping
✓  Room sizes, window and door positions, and where the power points are
✓  Who lives in the house, plus any pets, kids or regular guests
✓  Flooring, joinery and wall colours the furniture has to sit with
✓  Indoor and outdoor pieces that need to suit coastal sun and humidity
✓  Your spending range and when you need the rooms ready

If the layout isn’t settled yet, we start with space planning. That way the furniture is sized to a plan that works.

How a package is scoped

Packages can cover one room, a few rooms or the whole house. The steps are the same whatever the size. Only the number of rooms changes.

1

Room list and brief

We walk through the house with you and write a room-by-room list of what each space needs. This covers seating, sleeping, dining, storage, lighting and soft furnishings.

2

Layout and sizing

Each piece is placed on the plan to check walkways, sightlines to the garden and clearance around doors, before any piece is chosen.

3

Curated selection

We present furniture, rugs, lighting and accessories together as one scheme, with fabrics and finishes that carry through from room to room. You approve or change each item before it is ordered.

4

Placement and styling

Once everything has arrived, each piece is placed and the room is styled so it’s ready to use. Our interior decoration service can add art and final layers.

Who a package suits

New homes arriving empty

If you are building, the package can be planned alongside new build interior design. Furniture sizes and power points are then agreed before handover.

Full refurnishing after a renovation

New floors and joinery often show up how tired the old furniture looks. A package refurnishes the house in one go so it all looks consistent.

One room at a time

If you’re starting with just the living room, the main bedroom or the deck, we can plan a single-room package. Later rooms can build on the same palette.

Questions about furniture packages

How is a package priced?

The cost depends on how many rooms are included, which pieces you want and your chosen quality level. We scope it with you before we make any selections. Our article on what affects interior design costs explains the main factors.

Can I keep some of my existing furniture?

Yes. We note the pieces you are keeping in the brief, and the new selections are chosen to sit well with them.

How is this different from furniture selection and styling?

Furniture Selection & Styling can cover a few chosen pieces. A package furnishes whole rooms or the whole house as one complete scheme.

Do packages cover outdoor areas?

They can. Decks and covered outdoor rooms are planned with the living spaces they open onto. We choose outdoor pieces that suit coastal conditions.
